• Completes timely bank reconciliations utilizing Oracle ERP
• Reconciles all cash related balance sheet accounts
• Contributes to development and maintenance of Finance policies and procedures
• Develops and implements payment process flow charts, payment calendar, process documents, procedure documents and related forms; including, related EDMS documents
• Provides required reporting to Treasury regarding payments and cash flow forecasts
• Timely response to all queries regarding status of payment processing

Job Title: Accounts Payable Lead

Job Purpose:
 The Accounts Payable Lead is responsible for the management of the accounts payable processes required to transact timely and accurate accounts payable transactions. The Accounts Payable Lead will be responsible for supporting the overall development, maintenance and monitoring of accounts payable, procedures, forms, and accounts payable module (in ERP system) in order to effectively administer accounts payable in compliance with UAE statutory requirements, IFRS, management requirements and with appropriate internal controls. The Accounts Payable Lead will be responsible for the day to day management of the Accounts Payable team.

Key Accountabilities & Activities

1. Financial Control and Reporting
• Effectively utilizes Oracle ERP and other business systems to administer timely and accurate accounts payable (AP). The AP process includes receiving invoices and efficiently implementing internal flow in order to: record related expense or assets or CWIP to correct cost centre and accounts; record monthly accruals; audit payable against internal controls and delegation of authorities; maintain audit records; and manage reports for COMPANY Accounts Payable
• Effectively utilizes Oracle ERP and other business systems to administer timely and accurate AP payment process. The process includes efficiently implementing internal flow in order to: audit payments against internal controls and delegation of authorities
• Reconciles all accounts payable related balance sheet accounts
• Contributes to development and maintenance of Finance policies and procedures
• Reporting to management status of outstanding Accounts Payable, including implementation of KPI and status update reporting
• Timely response to all queries regarding status of invoice processing
• Responsible for ensuring that all invoices/payment requests are processed within the agreed timeframe per the Accounts Payable process flow
